I finished the socks for my Sockapalooza 4 pal. This is the first time I have joined Sockapalooza so I hope my pal will like them. The pattern is from the Sockamania Club KAL. It's the May Day socks. The pattern, from what I'm told, is similar to the Jaywalker socks. I am going to knit those this summer as well. These will go off to my pal in August.

Hi Everyone. I was looking for some pictures of my mother for my granddaughter and I found a family picture from when I was about 2 and I couldn't resist changing the photo. I am now 57 years young and I have been knitting since I was about 14. Needless to say I am totaly addicted. I have more yarn in my stash than I will ever live to knit. More books than I know what to do with - and I keep on getting more books, more patterns, more yarn, and more needles etc. That's why I am addicted to knitting. I can't get enough.

Very pretty! I love the way the colours in the yarn play out with the pattern of the sock. I've been snooping around quite a few of the Sockapalooza knitters and am amazed at how many finished pairs there are. I'm only just finishing up my first of the pair. Of course the fact that they're knee highs didn't help speed things along. Hope you had fun with this sock swap.
